The following lovely creation has been crafted by Steph Ackerman.
Steph has used embossed butterfly vellum. From here she has coloured in the reverse of the butterfly with ZIG Scroll & Brush Markers. Steph then glued the vellum around the edges onto some cardstock and hey presto this is the finished result...

One more post from our Easter Theme...
This is cracking - It really is an eggcellent idea... I couldn't resist :) Here is what Margie says...
Thank you Margie :)
This is cracking - It really is an eggcellent idea... I couldn't resist :) Here is what Margie says...
With Easter
coming very soon, I thought I'd take some plastic eggs and do a quick but
simple decor using KURETAKE ZIG® 2-Way GlueChisel Tip and ZIG Art & Graphic Twin markers. This is what I came up with...
I brushed
some Gesso onto the eggs. It took about two to three coats. Make sure you dry
between coats for good coverage.
Next I used
ZIG Art & Graphic Twin set of four Kind Hearted Tones purple and pink
markers to color the eggs. I love how it covers the surface and such beautiful
vibrant colors!
With the ZIG 2 Way Glue Chisel Tip, I drew lines for the pink and dots for the purple egg. Your tip
will catch color so I swipe the tip on a scrap piece of paper and it transfers
all that color off...it doesn't take much. Then I covered the area with fine
glitter of a similar color for a monotone effect.
Let the
glitter dry. In the meantime, I created a simple egg stand using a 2 x 6"
strip of patterned paper cut/embossed with Spellbinders™ Edgeabilities® border die
and adhered the ends to create a ring.
Here's a
second look...
Thank you Margie :)

Hello you lovely lot :)
Hope your all having a great week.
Continuing with our Easter theme we have a very adorable Easter Basket which has been created by Italian design team member Miria Molinari. Miria has used a selection from our Zig Art & Graphic Twin to colour in the stamped image and the Zig H2O Brush over the top. I think this overall is so cute and really effective.
Enjoy the rest of your week.
More blog posts to follow soon. In the mean time though if you would like to see more from our range of products then please visit the shop site :)

Hello readers and bloggers...
We hope everyone is well and not missed us too much. Sorry we've not uploaded anything for a while but lets get back to it starting off with...
Design Team Member Jamie Pope has designed these cute little brown bags for our Easter Theme. She has used Zig Writer in Black, Zig Brushables in Pure Pink, Lunar Lavender, Pure Yellow and Spring Green. Also used is the Zig Art and Graphic Twin in Cornflour Blue, Zig Calligraphy in Silver and the Zig H2O Waterbrush in Medium Tip.
As always we encourage our design team members to produce other creative goodies using our products. This is what Zoe Ford has created - it is a very colourful art journal page :) Zoe has used Zig Kurecolor Fine and Brush from our Cartoonist Range. She used it over the gesso, acrylics, book pages and gel medium.

Today on the 7th of March is World Book Day, so the Kuretake Design Team decided to
celebrate by making lots and lots of bookmarks.
Becki Wagner has created this gorgoues set....
My niece is like me in that she
is an avid reader. I took the challenge one step further by making a companion
reading list. That way she can keep her place and jot down the books she has
read this year. When looking online for ideas, I found a cute pattern to
simulate and that got me thinking. Why not just make a black and white drawing
so she can color it anyway she wants. So out came my ZIG Memory System® Millennium pen.
We have a few more bookmarks from our design team that will be shown over the weekend..then onto some Easter inspired crafting! :)
